Directions On entering tralee, from cork/killarney. McDonalds restaurant on the LEFT. straight ahead over roundabout. past hospital on the left, over mini roundabout. straight ahead over next roundabout to next major roundabout. turn RIGHT. up to a set of traffic lights. Train/Bus station on the right. Turn RIGHT at the lights. Turn left at the Shell petrol station. (fairies cross) Up to the junction, RIGHT fork. Church on the right hand side. R556 tralee-abbeydorney road. Continue on this road straight ahead at the roundabout. Continue on this road for 1.5 miles. At the top of the hill on the right hand side, you will see Sheridan Lodge B&B. Continue past this. Acorn Cottage is the 4th property on the left.Acorn Cottage is a cosy, freindly, Irish cottage. With three ground floor guest rooms, furnished in pine. 1 double room with en-suite shower room.. triple room with double and single beds twin room with en-suite shower room. rooms have colour televisions. all rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. guest lounge with tv/dvd. open log/turf fire on chilly evenings. Views of the countryside and kerry mountains. Five minutes drive from Tralee, choice of shopping, restaurants, traditional pubs, golf courses, riding stables, and beaches, and the AquaDome (swimming pools). No Smoking.
