Directions North side of the river Liffey opposite Hueston Rail Station and the Guinness Brewery.FROM DUBLIN CITY CENTRE:By Foot: The hotel is a 20 minute walk from O'Connell Street in the city centre. Walk westward along the north quays of the River Liffey as far as Wolfe Tone Quay. Turn right onto Parkgate Street, where the hotel is situated. By Car: From O'Connell Street, drive westward along the quays on the River Liffey. At Victoria Quay in front of Heuston Rail Station, turn right across the River Liffey. Once across the river turn right and then immediately left. At the first traffic lights turn left. The hotel and hotel car park are on your right. Journey time is approximately 5 minutes.There are numerous taxi ranks located in the city centre, including OâConnell Street, Dame Street and St Stephenâs Green. Taxis can also be hailed from the street.By Bus: Regular bus services operate between the hotel and the city centre. Board any bus serving Heuston Rail Station. Disembark and cross the River Liffey which is adjacent to the Station. Parkgate Street is in front of you, with the hotel to your right. Journey time is approximately 5 minutes. By Tram: Board the LUAS red line tram service at Abbey Street. Disembark at Museum and turn right. The hotel is situated approximately 200m ahead on your right. Journey time is approximately 5 minutes. FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT:By Car: Join the M1 motorway in the direction of âDublinâ and take the first immediate exit onto the M50 in the direction of the N2/N3/N4/N7. Continue to the toll bridge. Go through the toll (EUR1.80) and take the next exit off the M50 immediately after the toll bridge. Turn left onto the N4 in the direction of the city centre. Continue for approximately 4 miles until you come to Heuston Rail Station on your left. The road curves left around the station, bringing you across the River Liffey. Once across the bridge, turn right and then immediately left. At the first traffic lights turn left. The hotel and hotel car park are on your right. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes.A taxi rank is located on the arrivals level of the airport outside the terminal building. By Bus: Board the 748 âAirlinkâ bus which operates directly to Heuston Rail Station. Disembark and cross the bridge over the River Liffey which is adjacent to the Station. Parkgate Street is in front of you, with the hotel to your right. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. FROM DUBLIN PORT:By Car: Follow the signs for the city centre. At Custom House Quay, turn left across the River Liffey at the junction just before Customs House. Once across the bridge, turn right immediately. Continue westward along the quays until you come to Victoria Quay in front of Heuston Rail Station. Turn right across the River Liffey. Once across the river turn right and then immediately left. At the first traffic lights turn left. The hotel and hotel car park are on your right. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes.By Bus: Board the 53/53A bus to the city centre from East Wall (Alexander Gates). From the city-centre, board the 90 bus at Aston Quay. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. FROM DUN LAOGHAIRE PORT: By Car: Follow the signs for the city centre and join the south quays of the River Liffey (westward). Continue as far as Victoria Quay in front of Heuston Rail Station, then right across the River Liffey. Once across the river turn right and then immediately left. At the first traffic lights turn left. The hotel and hotel car park are on your right. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes.By Rail/Tram: From Dun Laoghaire Station, board the DART urban rail service northbound. Disembark at Connolly Station. At Connolly Station board the LUAS red line tram service. Disembark at âMuseumâ and turn right. The hotel is approximately 200m ahead on your right. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. By Bus: From Dun Laoghaire Station, board any bus in the direction of the city centre. From the city centre, board the 90 bus at Aston Quay. Journey time is approximately 45 minutes. FROM OUTSIDE DUBLIN: By Train: Heuston Intercity Rail Station is a 2 minute walk across the River Liffey from the hotel. The station serves the South and West of Ireland.Connolly Intercity Rail Station serves the North and West of Ireland. The LUAS red line trams connect the hotel directly with Connolly Station. By Car: The M50 motorway is easily accessible from the hotel, which connects with all major routes serving the rest of Ireland. By Bus: Most bus services into Dublin operate to the city centre and/or the central bus station Busaras. The hotel is easily accessed from both via the LUAS tram service. Board the LUAS red line tram and disembark at Museum. Turn right as you disembark. The hotel is situated approximately 200m ahead on your right. Also nearby are award winning bars .....Please Note:Please âBear with UsâThe older part of the Ashling Hotel on Parkgate Street will be undergoing building works involving a major transformation and will result in 130 new deluxe bedrooms, a stylish new restaurant and bar along with a fabulous new façade.Works will commence on Monday 14th January 2008 and take approximately twelve months. During the construction phase it will be âbusiness as usualâ albeit on a smaller scale (70 bedrooms) and with some necessary changes to allow the works to take place.From Monday 14th January 2008 the hotel entrance will be accessed from Montpelier Hill at the rear of Parkgate Street. Donât worry it will be well sign posted!! We will also be operating Cobblestones Bistro and our Guinness Lounge bar from here so no need for anyone to go hungry or thirsty!!
