Directions We are located to the north of Dugort, 15km from Achill Sound, County Mayo.Follow N5 to Castlebar then R311 to Newport, N59 to Mulranny and R319 to Achill Sound. Pass through Cashel and Bunacurry. Follow signs for Strand Hotel. Nearest Airport: Ireland West Airport (Knock) The Strand Hotel is located on the northern fringe of Achill Island beneath Slievemore Mountain, Achill's highest point and is situated overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at Dugort beach, providing spectacular views of Blacksod Bay.
Ideally located for those who enjoy an early morning or evening stroll along the beautiful sandy blue flag beach. We currently have 15 rooms available for occupancy, so places are limited. To avoid disappointment we recommend you pre-book your room well in advance of your planned stay. 50% reduction for children who share a room with two adults.
