Our self-contained banquet suite, the "Cara Suite", is well appointed on the ground floor beside our rockery patio with it's own private entrance, foyer, bar with lounge area, toilets and cloakroom, all of which are private and exclusively yours for your wedding day and evening.

Your Wedding Reception
Our Special Wedding Menu Selector has been designed to make your decision and budgeting easy with no hidden costs. At the same time it can be custom made to suit your individual special needs and make it that little bit different from others.

Wine and Drinks
A variety of recommended wine and drink selections for your wedding is offered and our full wine list is also available.

Cost
Contact us with an idea of what you require and the approximate number of guests. We will send you a 'Wedding Information Pack' with menus, reductions for children etc. We offer Special Discount for mid-week wedding receptions. Receive 10% discount on your reception menu, Monday - Thursday inclusive, excluding Public Holiday Mondays.

Confirmation and Deposits
When a provisional booking has been made, written confirmation is required within 14 days, together with a deposit. Hotel Westport reserves the right to cancel any
provisional booking which is not confirmed by an agreed date - we would of course contact you prior to taking this action.

Timing
All Wedding Bookings are accepted on a sit down time of no later than 4.30pm

Red Carpet Welcome: Quite literally, rolled out to greet the Bride and Groom

Welcome Drinks Reception: On arrival for your Wedding guests, which can take place on our patios, weather permitting.

Winter Warmer: Mulled Wine and Sherry / Tea & Coffee
Summer Cooler: Punch Bowl and Sherry / Tea & Coffee

Photographs: Private landscaped river gardens and restored historical bridge for your photographs

Floral Decorations: Fresh flowers will be placed on each table. We will be happy to co-ordinate these floral arrangements and room decorations in your chosen colour.

Candles and Linen Napkins: Candles to compliment your chosen colour and linen napkins are standard.

Table Plan: Place cards, personalised menu cards and a table plan can be prepared for your Wedding Reception. Seating arrangements will be discussed with you prior to the happy event.

Cake Stand and Knife: A cake stand round, swan or square will be provided. As a memento of your special day the cake knife is our personalised, engraved gift to you, with best wishes from the hotel wedding team and management.

Fun Packs: Children of 4 years and under will be accommodated with our compliments and fun packs will be provided to keep them occupied during the speeches.

Master of Ceremonies: Your reception will be professionally, yet unobtrusively, hosted by our management team.

Cake Boxes: For guests to take home a slice - or for those who were unable to attend.

Ample Car Parking for your guests

Additional Arrangements: We will be delighted to assist you in the arranging of cake, cars, piper, photographers and other related services.

Honeymoon Night: On your honeymoon night you are special guests with our compliments in one of our Deluxe Suites. You will receive champagne, fruit and chocolates on arrival. Breakfast is served to your Suite or in the Islands Restaurant.

First Anniversary: On the occasion of your first Anniversary you will receive a complimentary Anniversary Dinner for two in the Islands Restaurant.

Hotel Westport Ocean Spirit Spa & Leisure: Having booked, confirmed and celebrated your Wedding Reception at Hotel Westport, you will receive 12 months membership of our Leisure facilities absolutely Free!
